Professional Exhibits Fund. The Board of Trustees has created a special fund to help service bodies exhibit at professional conferences and conventions that might otherwise be too costly. If you know of a conference or convention at which you think OA should exhibit, consider applying for funding that would help your intergroup, national/language service board or region participate. To apply for funds, download and complete the Professional Exhibits Fund Application.

If you would like to support OA in carrying the message through large conferences and conventions, please consider donating to the Professional Exhibits Fund. You may send your check to the World Service Office at PO Box 44020, Rio Rancho, NM 87174-4020 USA, or donate by credit card on the Contribution page.

A Call for Volunteers. You can help preserve OA's history if you have a computer and equipment for dubbing audio cassettes to mp3 files. Download the flyer A Call for Volunteers for more information.

Designated Downloader (DD). Through this new service opportunity, you can help members of the Fellowship who do not have access to computers. Download the Designated Downloader flyer* for more information and a flyer to post or distribute.

Lifeline Rep. Does your OA meeting have a Lifeline rep? If not, your group may register its Lifeline rep at addarep@oa.org. Lifeline reps encourage members of their group to subscribe to Lifeline, and reps receive a Rep Packet to assist them. Lifeline reps earn bonuses to share with their groups. Being a Lifeline rep is easy and fun. Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to serve the Fellowship that has given so much to you.

Public Information. Do you have a good idea about public information? Did you have a successful PI event in your area? Submit your ideas to the WSO for publication on the PI Suggestions page.

Working with Professionals. Ask a professional in your community who you know supports OA to write an article for publication in the Courier, a newsletter sent annually to professionals worldwide. For extra support in working with professionals in your community, see Appendix 1 of the Professional Outreach Manual, provided here as a PDF file* for your convenience.

WSBC Volunteer. Volunteer to assist at the annual World Service Business Conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico. "A WSBC Volunteer's Story" (PDF file*) describes the value one volunteer received at the WSBC..

WSBC Delegate. Contact your intergroup or national/language service board about being a World Service Business Conference delegate.

Sponsoring. Sponsor someone in your group.

OA Trustees. Run for world service regional trustee or general service trustee. Download the trustee application form here.

Intergroup Reps. Be an intergroup representative, and represent your group at intergroup meetings; or be a region representative and represent your intergroup at regional assemblies. Contact your intergroup for information about how to volunteer.

Professional Packets. Distribute professional packets to members of your group or intergroup and ask them to give that packet — either by hand or by mail — to one professional in the community during the month, such as a doctor or dentist, a health or psychology professor at a local university, or the official at a house of worship.

Twelfth Step Within. Participate in a local Twelfth-Step-Within Committee: The Twelfth-Step-Within Committee was created at OA's 1985 World Service Business Conference to reach out to those in the Fellowship who still suffer and to address the relapse and recovery of our members. The committee's purpose is to strengthen Overeaters Anonymous by sharing information and ideas that generate recovery within the Fellowship. For more information and a list of resources for Twelfth-Step-Within work, go to the page Twelfth Step Within.
